Darwin was founded by Mark Ronquillo, now a professor at Penn State University’s Bellasario College of Communications and former evp/executive creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi NY where he managed over 15 different brands for P&G, both nationally and globally. He’s also led major brands at other well-known agencies including McCann Erickson, Publicis, Lowe & Partners and BBDO.
Inspired by the provocative thinking of evidence-based authors including Byron Sharp, Jenni Romaniuk and Richard Shotton, Mark started Darwin to explore creativity inspired by behavioral science rather than advertising “mythology." Along with some other creative and strategic heretics, he hopes to help advertising evolve to better serve both clients and consumers.
