Hi, I’m Mark Ronquillo, the founder of Darwin Radical Branding and thanks for stopping by. Over my 25+ year career as a writer/creative director on some of the world’s best and biggest brands, I started to have a crisis of faith. I saw too many issues with the industry’s creative mythology, not to mention its unhealthy addiction to awards, and decided to embrace a bit more of my rational side. The side that geeked out on research, data and believe it not, business results. This personal evolution led me to develop Darwin Radical Branding, a consultancy with what I believe is a more effective approach to creativity. It’s simply a different way to connect the dots. One that prioritizes brand awareness, infuses behavioral science into creative development and informs work built for the real world. By design, this approach will be a constant work-in-progress, and admittedly, much of what I propose borders on advertising heresy, but judge for yourself.
